Emergency Dental Implants

before and after teeth

This 72 year old woman called in a panic because #24 broke off at the gum line. The broken tooth was removed and an implant placed immediately. A temporary crown was made. Total treatment time: 1 hour. The patient is thrilled. She can smile, socialize and feel confident. Her parting comment was “I feel like I never broke my tooth.”

It is Sunday night, you bite on a popcorn kernel and your front tooth cracks below the gum line. Your active busy life does not have room for you to wear a removable temporary tooth replacement while the broken tooth is replaced with a dental implant.

With our emergency implant technology we can remove the broken tooth, immediately insert a dental implant, and put a temporary crown on the implant as well. You leave our office smiling and confident as you were before your tooth broke. A few months when the implant has fused with the bone your dentist will make the final implant restoration.

Dr. Scharf has the experience and the skill to know-how to use this technology.
